Thieving Thursdays: Science Fiction

Once again I will steal a paragraph from an article I like and link to it.

In the guardian there is an interesting article about about how mass media has turned "fact" into "fiction" so that Science Fiction is no longer escapist reading but it is now truer than the fiction that is being presented as fact.

Stranger than science fiction

Realist fiction struggles to grasp a world increasingly ruled by unreality. We need science fiction and the strange inventions of fantasy to help us understand the modern world.
